My Coon will rip your face off if you use a blow dryer on him. Otherwise, he loves water and being brushed.

Ok, come on over to my house and meet my Maine Coon Gus, and just see what happen when try out you clippers, power razor, and give him a bath. However, he loves to be combed and seem to enjoy that, but not the other....

Beautiful beautiful cat. I also have a Orange/White Maine coon, maybe not quite as big but my gosh does he need to be groomed. I'm very hesitant though because I'm scared someone is going to groom him like a dog and literally shave him completely off but something like the video is what I need. I don't want him shaved off completely but just a nice brush out and light shave in the areas that are needed. Do you have any tips on how to find a good groomer? A lot of the ones around me seem to be only for dogs, and its sad that cat grooming is such a wild and uncommon concept.

I have two smaller ones and they hate being groomed. They’re pretty docile until noise is introduced, only one of them likes being held. The other one refuses to sit down. They only like being brushed for about like 2 minutes. Very difficult cats but i love them. Very smart. One learned how to turn locks on my door and had locked me out a number of times.

I guess I got a demon possessed Maine coon cat cause when you turn on a electric clippers he turn totally vicious to where anesthesia is required for shaving him.

I love my cats, I don't have a maine coon but my fluffy orange Momo looks EXACTLY like one. The first time I saw one in person though, I was blown away. They are gigantic, have paws the size of a dog, and are the smartest things ever. I want one some day!
